Dom

Hi there! I’m Dom, the skiing enthusiast here at CoolWaterSports. Ever since I was a child, I’ve hit the slopes for at least 25 days or more every season, and for the past 20 years, I’ve often been skiing in the backcountry. There’s nothing I love more than a cold morning after a night of snowfall.

Why am I part of the CoolWaterSports team? Well, these days, skiing, especially in powder, feels just like surfing. It’s no coincidence that many free-riders, whether they’re skiing or snowboarding, spend their summers on surfboards, windsurfing, or stand-up paddleboarding. Snow is just frozen water after all. So, it’s only natural that the feelings you get from each sport are so similar.

I aim to share my passion for skiing and freeriding with all of our readers. One thing’s for sure, I’ve never seen anyone with a frown after a sick run!
